Arrival

Arrival is streaming on Paramount+ and Peacock in the US right now, and you can rent or buy it on Prime Video, Apple TV, Google Play, YouTube and Fandango. Cinova keeps this updated and links you straight into the service.

Arrival has a Cinova Score of 7.5 out of 10 from 163 ratings. That puts it at #154 in Drama and #393 of all movies on Cinova. Every rating comes from a real person ranking it against the other titles they have seen, so the number is a decimal, not a rounded star count.

Taking place after alien crafts land around the world, an expert linguist is recruited by the military to determine whether they come in peace or are a threat.

Arrival was directed by Denis Villeneuve and released in 2016. It stars Amy Adams, Jeremy Renner and Forest Whitaker.

Open Arrival in the Cinova app, tap Rate, pick a bucket (Exceptional, Excellent, Good, Mediocre or Poor), then answer a few quick head to head picks against movies you have already rated. Cinova turns those picks into a decimal score that is yours, and slots Arrival into your personal ranking.
