Event Horizon

Event Horizon is streaming on Paramount+, Peacock, Apple TV, AMC+ and Tubi in the US right now, and you can rent or buy it on Prime Video, Google Play, YouTube and Fandango. Cinova keeps this updated and links you straight into the service.

Event Horizon has a Cinova Score of 7.3 out of 10 from 6 ratings. That puts it at #64 in Horror and #471 of all movies on Cinova. Every rating comes from a real person ranking it against the other titles they have seen, so the number is a decimal, not a rounded star count.

In 2047, a group of astronauts are sent to investigate and salvage the starship Event Horizon which disappeared mysteriously seven years before on its maiden voyage. However, it soon becomes evident that something sinister resides in its corridors.

Event Horizon was directed by Paul W. S. Anderson and released in 1997. It stars Laurence Fishburne, Sam Neill and Kathleen Quinlan.

Open Event Horizon in the Cinova app, tap Rate, pick a bucket (Exceptional, Excellent, Good, Mediocre or Poor), then answer a few quick head to head picks against movies you have already rated. Cinova turns those picks into a decimal score that is yours, and slots Event Horizon into your personal ranking.
