Last Action Hero

Last Action Hero is not on a subscription service in the US right now, but you can rent or buy it on Prime Video, Apple TV, Google Play, YouTube and Fandango. Cinova checks this every time you open the movie page.

Last Action Hero has a Cinova Score of 7.8 out of 10 from 5 ratings. That puts it at #36 in Fantasy and #274 of all movies on Cinova. Every rating comes from a real person ranking it against the other titles they have seen, so the number is a decimal, not a rounded star count.

After his father's death, a young boy finds solace in action movies featuring an indestructible cop. Given a magic ticket by a theater manager, he is transported into the film and teams up with the cop to stop a villain who escapes into the real world.

Last Action Hero was directed by John McTiernan and released in 1993. It stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Austin O'Brien and Bridgette Wilson.
