Princess Mononoke has a Cinova Score of 8.7 out of 10 from 134 ratings. That puts it at #13 in Adventure and #64 of all movies on Cinova. Every rating comes from a real person ranking it against the other titles they have seen, so the number is a decimal, not a rounded star count.

Ashitaka, a prince of the disappearing Emishi people, is cursed by a demonized boar god and must journey to the west to find a cure. Along the way, he encounters San, a young human woman fighting to protect the forest, and Lady Eboshi, who is trying to destroy it. Ashitaka must find a way to bring balance to this...

Princess Mononoke was directed by Hayao Miyazaki and released in 1997. It stars Yoji Matsuda, Yuriko Ishida and Yuko Tanaka.
