The Blair Witch Project has a Cinova Score of 6.6 out of 10 from 5 ratings. That puts it at #96 in Horror and #720 of all movies on Cinova. Every rating comes from a real person ranking it against the other titles they have seen, so the number is a decimal, not a rounded star count.

In October of 1994 three student filmmakers disappeared in the woods near Burkittsville, Maryland, while shooting a documentary. A year later their footage was found.

The Blair Witch Project was directed by Daniel Myrick and released in 1999. It stars Heather Donahue, Joshua Leonard and Michael C. Williams.
