The Danish Girl

The Danish Girl is not on a subscription service in the US right now, but you can rent or buy it on Prime Video, Apple TV, Google Play, YouTube and Fandango. Cinova checks this every time you open the movie page.

The Danish Girl does not have a Cinova Score yet. A title needs at least 5 ratings before the community average shows, so for now the page shows a critic score of 7.5. Rate it in the app and you could be one of the first.

When Gerda Wegener asks her husband Einar to fill in as a portrait model, Einar discovers the person she's meant to be and begins living her life as Lili Elbe. Having realized her true self and with Gerda's love and support, Lili embarks on a groundbreaking journey as a transgender pioneer.

The Danish Girl was directed by Tom Hooper and released in 2015. It stars Eddie Redmayne, Alicia Vikander and Matthias Schoenaerts.
