Tropic Thunder has a Cinova Score of 8.2 out of 10 from 11 ratings. That puts it at #54 in Comedy and #170 of all movies on Cinova. Every rating comes from a real person ranking it against the other titles they have seen, so the number is a decimal, not a rounded star count.

A group of self-absorbed actors set out to make the most expensive war film ever. When budgets skyrocket and schedules fall far behind, the director tries to save the production by leading his cast into the jungles of Southeast Asia, where they inadvertently encounter real danger.

Tropic Thunder was directed by Ben Stiller and released in 2008. It stars Ben Stiller, Robert Downey Jr. and Jack Black.
