Sex and the City

Sex and the City is streaming on Max in the US right now, and you can rent or buy it on Prime Video, Apple TV, Google Play and Fandango. Cinova keeps this updated and links you straight into the service.

Sex and the City has a Cinova Score of 7.2 out of 10 from 116 ratings. That puts it at #322 in Drama and #484 of all shows on Cinova. Every rating comes from a real person ranking it against the other titles they have seen, so the number is a decimal, not a rounded star count.

Based on the bestselling book by Candace Bushnell, Sex and the City tells the story of four best friends, all single and in their late thirties, as they pursue their careers and talk about their sex lives, all while trying to survive the New York social scene.

Sex and the City was created by Darren Star and released in 1998. It stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall and Cynthia Nixon.

Open Sex and the City in the Cinova app, tap Rate, pick a bucket (Exceptional, Excellent, Good, Mediocre or Poor), then answer a few quick head to head picks against shows you have already rated. Cinova turns those picks into a decimal score that is yours, and slots Sex and the City into your personal ranking.
