The Purge

The Purge is not on a subscription service in the US right now, but you can rent or buy it on Prime Video, Apple TV, Google Play and Fandango. Cinova checks this every time you open the show page.

The Purge has a Cinova Score of 6.8 out of 10 from 123 ratings. That puts it at #107 in Mystery and #545 of all shows on Cinova. Every rating comes from a real person ranking it against the other titles they have seen, so the number is a decimal, not a rounded star count.

Set in a dystopian America ruled by a totalitarian political party, the series follows several seemingly unrelated characters living in a small city. Tying them all together is a mysterious savior who’s impeccably equipped for everything the night throws at them. As the clock winds down with their fates hanging in...

The Purge was created by James DeMonaco and released in 2018. It stars Paola Nuñez, Max Martini and Derek Luke.

Open The Purge in the Cinova app, tap Rate, pick a bucket (Exceptional, Excellent, Good, Mediocre or Poor), then answer a few quick head to head picks against shows you have already rated. Cinova turns those picks into a decimal score that is yours, and slots The Purge into your personal ranking.
